The Role
This is a really exciting time for our business and we’re looking forward to welcoming this vital new member to our Team.  A true lynchpin, in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment at the forefront of Insurtech; you will help maximise the CEO’s and Business Development team’s value, contributing directly to the business’ expansion.  

You will be ‘that’ person. That awesome individual that the team trust and rely on to get things done. You will be ace at pre-empting needs and have that drive and focus to produce the right solution and guide the team on what’s best. You’ll be able to think outside the box and provide creative solutions to the things that are asked of you.  They’ll wonder how they ever survived without you!

Specifically, this role will ensure our Senior Management and Business Development team receive a high level of support and structure across all facets of their Client/Strategic Partner sales endeavours. This role will take ownership of translating Business Development needs and supporting the acquisition of new key Clients and Partners. 

Salary: £40k p/a

Here's what we're looking for:

Core responsibilities

Master of the Deal Flow

  • You will prioritise operational efforts, ensuring effective communication, alignment, and execution of the organisation’s business development strategy and roadmap are on track and on target. 
  • Lead Business Development meetings and bring together the global team to report and update on progress, share relevant sales opportunities, dealflow and insights.
  • Maintain and manage the centralised global interface of prospective leads, to drive performance efficiencies for tracking deal flow.
  • Take ownership of the sales funnel, from scheduling meetings, to preparing and sending on Decks/materials- and managing this process globally.
  • Plan and help prepare for key internal and external Senior Stakeholder meetings and reviews.

Content Marketing Creator

  • Create and manage sales collateral/assets, in line with the Business Development strategy, to showcase the proposition, support the Team and win new business.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each Colleagues objectives and priorities and ensure they have the materials and support they need, at the right time.
  • Source, liaise and manage an external PR team. Ensure the team have what they need, when they need it, in order to swiftly capitalise on opportunities.

Awareness Builder

  • Build out a quality Events Calendar at top conferences, including securing speaking opportunities for the CEO. Organise and project manage event attendance and creation of promotional assets.
  • Brief and fully manage an external Digital Marketing Team/Content Team, predominantly across current Partner/Client engagement and fresh blog/article writing and LinkedIn activity.
  • Measure and report performance of all Marketing and Lead Gen campaigns and assess against individual, departmental and company goals (ROI and KPIs).

Requirements

You will be…

  • Someone who thrives in and actively seeks out diverse, fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  • A proven self-starter with a bias towards action, as well as being an agile and creative problem solver. You are someone who can get things done.
  • Familiar with the Tech startup ecosystem with an emphasis on Insurtech and Fintech.
  • An exceptional project manager with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead several time-sensitive projects at the same time, in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
  • A team player with the ability to develop and nurture relationships remotely, across the whole company and across senior organisational levels, geographies and sectors.
  • Comfortable and happy to work remotely, from home. 
  • Professional, clear, and articulate – a great communicator, with an ability to support and unify the team under pressure. 
  • Keen and eager to hit the ground running!

You will have

  • Experience in Project Management, Account Direction, Operations or similar  within a fast-paced environment- with the ability to keep everyone united and on track.
  • Exceptional organisation, prioritisation and project management skills, combined with strong business acumen.
  • Great verbal communication skills, alongside exceptional written communication skills.
  • A track record of undertaking quality Deck and Proposal writing/creation under your own steam.
  • An outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Keen eye for quality design and an ability to produce presentations/Decks in line with Brand guidelines.
  • Experience and confidence working with key stakeholders and have proven skills in stakeholder management.
  • A strong tolerance for ambiguity, with the ability to focus and execute in a rapidly changing environment- take charge and make things happen!
